Teflon-treatment makes the Jacquard water repellent
Jacquard Tablecloths These Teflon-treated cotton Jacquards have the unique properties to repel water, and water and oil-based stains and are therefore very easy to maintenance. The feel of the material is not altered by this treatment. They are quite formal yet trouble free. Washing is only necessary on an infrequent basis due to the anti-soiling nature of the treatment. They can be easily machine washed on a warm gentle cycle and best air dried. For a more conventional tablecloth we have polyester woven Jacquards which are easily washed and now do not require ironing. See Polyester Jacquard page.
